With over a thousand celebrants in the Sydney region, it took us a while to narrow down our choice to Kris Rose. We spent a great deal of time reviewing profiles online to get our shortlist down to about ten potential candidates. We organised a Skype call with each of them which was, by far, the most helpful tool to find someone that we connected with. Kris Rose was very professional, organised, and experienced. We immediately felt as though she would do whatever it took for us to have the best possible day.
We are thankful that we picked her! From the start, she was always genuine and seemed sincerely interested in capturing our story and translating who we are into a very personalised ceremony. During our first meeting she provided us with a stack of information we needed to know (some of which we never even thought about) as well as innumerable examples of all the different parts of a wedding to help guide us. She really listened to our needs, gave good suggestions on how to make our ceremony even better than what we had initially envisioned.
Our final call with her a week before the wedding gave us a great level of comfort. We went back through how the day would flow and the timeline of each segment. We ended up making some changes based on her suggestions and believe it made a big difference to how the day worked out.
The morning of the ceremony, Kris arrived early to help organise and to make sure everything was set up, ready to go on time. As we were running around with our last minute preparation, it was great to have her there to coordinate a few of those “morning of” decisions that, despite your best efforts, always crop up. During the ceremony itself, she was very articulate and managed the whole ceremony very well. It was everything we hoped for and then some.
